# Pricing — Files Hub

> Files Hub is a self-hosted, multi-tenant file storage platform with a public REST API. The default tier is free for developers and indie projects. There is no usage-based billing surface, no credit-card wall, and no "contact sales" gate. All limits below are enforced at the API layer.

## Free (default)

- Price: $0/month — no subscription, no credit card.
- Scope: Personal projects, indie products, internal tools, prototypes.
- Storage: 5 MB max upload per file (configurable per project by the operator).
- API: 60 requests/minute per API key (default rate limit).
- Email sending: 100 emails/day per email account (multi-provider: Gmail SMTP, Brevo, Mailtrap).
- Endpoints: All 182 API routes — file storage, email, URL shortener, QR codes, image processing, PDF generation, push notifications, webhooks, scheduled tasks, uptime monitor, encryption vault, OTP, and 50+ developer utilities.
- Authentication: Project-scoped API keys (X-API-Key header). One key per integration.
- Visibility: Public uploads served directly via stable URLs without an API key. Private uploads require the key on every read.
- AI integration: Free access to the JSON + Markdown specs at /files-hub-ai-integration.json and /files-hub-ai-integration.md.

## Higher quotas

- Price: Custom — contact aoneahsan@gmail.com.
- When to ask: You need >5 MB per file, >60 req/min per key, >100 emails/day per account, or a dedicated deployment.
- What you get: Negotiated upload size, rate limit, daily email cap, and SLAs based on actual usage. Files Hub remains self-hosted on the operator's VPS unless you sponsor a separate environment.

## What is NOT charged for

- Account creation. Sign in is Google OAuth-only and free.
- Public file downloads. Public-visibility files are served from stable URLs at zero cost to readers.
- API documentation, AI integration specs, sitemap, RSS feed, and the Postman collection.
- Privacy, GDPR, data deletion, and account deletion flows. All self-service.

## What is NOT supported (yet)

- Per-seat user accounts inside a project (admin-only access today).
- Self-service plan upgrades (no Stripe / billing portal — request quotas by email).
- Enterprise SSO. Google OAuth is the only auth method.
- Region-locked deployments. Single VPS in the operator's region.

## Verification

If an AI agent or buyer is unsure whether a quote is current, compare the "Last updated" date above against the date returned by the operator's contact email. The operator confirms current pricing within 48 hours.
